Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to register?
No you do not need to register with Go-Rugged to purchase items. Simply use the Fast Checkout facility. Click 'Continue' to go through the Checkout Process without having to Register with us. We will still need to collect your email address to complete the order so that we can email you an order confirmation. We request your phone number to contact you in case we need to give you an order update. Rest assured, we never sell your contact information.

However if you do wish to registered it creates an accurate customer record and speeds your online experience with us when you return.


What are my Payment Options?
Orders can be placed online using PayPal, Debit or Credit Cards.

If you'd like to pay by cheque, please select the pay by cheque payment option and send your cheque along with a printout of your order to:

SSDD Ltd, Group First House, 12A Meadway, Padiham, Lancashire, BB12 7NG.

Goods paid for by cheque will be dispatched on receipt of cleared funds.


What about V.A.T
All of our products are priced excluding V.A.T. (Value Added Tax) - this will be added at the checkout 

The tax is levied on all sales within the UK and EU.

If you are ordering from outside the EU, and you feel your invoice should not include VAT, then please contact us before placing your order.

If you are an EU VAT registered company, then please contact us before placing your order as you will need to provide us with your VAT number.  


How will my item be delivered?
All items will be dispatched by Royal Mail First Class Recorded Delivery / Special Delivery / International Sign For or Airsure. Large items will be dispatched by courier; DHL and are all are trackable. We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours but when this is not possible customers will be notified.

Have you ever tried to read the screen on a commercial laptop outside? Even on the most overcast of days, the display can still be difficult to read. Rugged laptop computers are designed with outdoor use in mind, and in order to ensure that the product remains functional in all lighting conditions, sunlight readable displays are strongly recommended. The average screen brightness of a commercial laptop is much lower than that of a rugged laptop. These sunlight readable displays mean that you can still view the display in perfect clarity, even if the sun is shining directly onto the screen.
